I’m a History teacher in South Carolina.  I like to go to historical sites that are out of the way, and not well known in South Carolina.  If you know of any ruins, or hidden historical gems in South Carolina, please let me know.  I’d love to visit!

Enjoyed the 2010 article on North Augusta. I have an actual Court document set from 1799 detailing an assault trial by an enemy of John Hammond in Augusta, Georgia. Could definitely be a suspect in Hammond’s murder months later.

  2. Hello. I’ve got tons of information for you on McCormick County. I would be glad to shoot you an email with details on about 5 sites all within about 8 miles of each other. Please get back to me if you would like the details.

    Edmund hwy, Lexington, sc 29073

That’s the general location, it’s near the airport, that’s all I know

It’s a place we call Mars

It’s like a swimming hole and there’s a cliff you can jump off of. I’m not sure where it came from but I’m sure there’s some history behind it
